Born out of the need for organized and focused representation, the Northwest Neighborhood Alliance brings to the forefront issues and concerns related to the quality of life in Northwest San Antonio.

-----*-----

The Northwest Neighborhood Alliance is comprised of over thirty neighborhood home-owner associations across northwest San Antonio representing over thirty thousand homes.

By its organizational charter, the Alliance covers all of northwest San Antonio in the area outside I.H. Loop 410. It is bounded on the northeast by I.H.-10 and U.S. Highway 90 to the south with Loop 1604 as the current outer boundary.

The Northwest Neighborhood Alliance represents the concerns of the homeowner in cases of zoning, development, schools, traffic flow and safety. The alliance attends City Council meetings and works closely with council, its staff, and the Mayor to ensure citizen feedback and concerns are given just consideration. Essentially, the Alliance is the cumulative voice of home-owner associations it represents.

"...The Northwest Neighborhood Alliance has been very instrumental in the growth and direction of Northwest San Antonio... ."

WHO WE ARE

The Northwest Neighborhood Alliance is made up of people who are active in their own Northwest home-owner associations and care about the future, growth and direction of San Antonio, its schools and neighborhoods.

WHAT WE'RE ABOUT

The Alliance focuses in advancing the interest of the individual home-owner association in their quest for a safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable place to live and raise families. These quality-of-life concerns are first and foremost in everything the Alliance does. It is an a-political, non-partisan association whose prime philosophy is pro-active involvement with city organizations.

WHAT WE DO

  • Work with Code Compliance and SAFFE Officers to keep neighborhoods clean

  • Sponsor Neighborhood Safety Programs such as Cellular on Patrol

  • Work with the Traffic and Police Departments for safer streets and school zones

  • On-going support of "Keep San Antonio Beautiful" for city-wide cleanups

  • Sponsor and encourage new neighborhood coalitions
