SAWS PROPOSED RATE INCREASE - The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) Chief Operating
Officer (COO) briefed the December 3rd Alliance meeting on the proposed rate increase. Please review the

Copies of revised UDC now available
The latest edition of the City's Unified Development Code (UDC), which includes all City Council amendments through July 2004, is now available to the public at several locations:
* On the City's Internet website at http://www.sanantonio.gov/dsd/udc.asp.
* On compact disc available for no charge by calling 207-0239.
* At the Development and Business Services Center, 1901 S. Alamo, where a hard copy can be checked out for five days for a refundable deposit of $32.50.
* At City libraries, in the reference section, beginning August 15.
* At Speedy Print, 229 W. Ramsey, for $32.50 per copy.
The UDC is a comprehensive plan that regulates land use and development within the San Antonio city limits and
extraterritorial jurisdiction in order to promote the health, safety, morals, and the general
welfare of the community.
